Temp: 67 - 74 F rain – overcast – sun late in day

Same story, different day.  Started in the rain again today for the first 2 hours.  Thus wet clothes all day.  Saddle sores are getting worse due to the wet pants.

 

I think we must have made a wrong turn somewhere and ended up in Ireland.  Rain everyday while in Ohio.

Typical small country road in the rain.  Rolling terrain.

 

 

We have continued our east and north biking on small country roads as we traveled around Akron and Youngstown, OH.  Would never know we were in the vicinity of these larger cities.  Also crossed interstate I-80 as we head north.

 

Given the rain and the long distance bike ride, little opportunity for photos today.

 We heard this region of Ohio is 8" of rain over normal for the months of May and June.   Many fields are partially flooded and streams are over flooding they banks.  Some road closures.

 

Morning SAG wagon stop near a small country cemetery.

Biked the last 11 miles today on a paved rails-to-trails bike trail.  A pleasant departure from the busy highways.
