Temp:  68 - 80 F rain in morning, sunny late afternoon

First day with no mechanical issue in past week!!

Instead we biked in moderate to heavy rain for 4.5 hours from start thru morning SAG wagon stop until noon.  Heaviest rain that we biked in during the entire trip.  After 2 hours the inside of my shoes were full of water.

On a very positive note my daughter, Susan, and granddaughter, Sophia, visited the riders at the morning SAG wagon stop and then spent the late afternoon and dinner with us at our destination in Troy.

There are stickers for all the major events of the biking trip.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Susan made banana bread for everyone at our SAG stop.

Last 15 miles of today's ride was on a rails-to-trails bikeway along the Mohawk River and  leading to the Hudson River.

 

 

Our hotel was in Troy on the Hudson River.

 

 

 

Sophia spent the afternoon coloring while we were getting ready for dinner.
